On August 10th, we got the news about what could arguably be the most anticipated cd release of this year. Well, to all of us over on the KHK that is. Yes it was the news that the new Kill Hannah cd, titled 'Wake Up The Sleepers' will be released on September 29th. I am beyond excited for this. I think I've reached the stage of I'm-in-such-anticipation-of-this-record-that-I-think-I'm-going-to-explode-before-it's-release. Which, in all honesty, I hope I don't.
And when this news was announced, along with it was a lovely link to KH's purevolume page where they are
streaming a full audio of not one, but two new songs called 'Strobe Lights' and 'New York City Speed'. (Note: NYCS is actually a remix(*) that Mat did on his own a while back, but now it's been remastered and reworked to sound even better.) Now though, they're both up on their myspace in case you wanted to know.

Here's a something to show my anticipation for this cd:

Mmm, thanks blogspot for eating the quality.
Check my paint skills ho.
Here's a link to the clean copy of this header which, on KH's myspace, has a snazzy countdown timer on it. It's actually hypnotic and can cure boredom for hours.

Last week, I saw the future. Metaphorically speaking obviously. The particular future I'm talking about is Firefox. Internet Explorer you bitch, I'm glad to see no more of your slow-moving, failing, ass-backwards ways. Hello super quick, easy-to-use, winning Firefox. I've been missing out. If you need another reason to step into the future: IT HAS AUTOMATIC SPELL CHECK.

The low-point of this week was stumbling onto Buzznet and finding the new promo photos for AFI's new album Crash Love. "Oh yay, I'm excited for this cd too." *pause* "Wait a minute...something's not right here..." *clicks on link to photos* >insert gasp and stopping of heart< *crying inside* "WTF happened to Daveina?!"

I think I died a bit inside when I saw that Daveina was no more. Btw, he's not actually dead; his beautiful hair, make-up and eyelashes have been replaced for nothing other than a bare face, stubble and a fucking quiff. I mean really, a quiff? We're not living in the 50's anymore Daveina! But then again, there is that whole 50's 'mod' type fashion going around faster than a prostitute spreads chlamydia. Hm, I think he stopped hanging around with Jeffree Star..

Then there's the small fact that my brother thinks that Dr Martens are for bikers and lesbians.

Oh wow, that's just wonderful.
