Time for an overhaul & knitting for psychos...

Listening to: The Used
Reading: Kerrang!
Watching: T4 - Ugly Betty & The Simpsons, Super Nanny USA

I had a brain wave this morning. While watching Gossip Girl I was reading Star magazine and aside from reading more things about MJ and other celebs, I came across an interview with Hayden Panettiere (who plays Claire in Heroes) talking about diets and the like. It made me want to have a total overhaul, start eating healthily and actually exercise. I keep saying to myself that I'm going to start eating healthily ect, but this time I'm actually going to do it and stick to it. If it means that I can feel better about myself, be more active and loose a bit of weight, then I'm gonna get started now.

The only thing about Hayden Panettiere is she's a vegetarian, which is all fine and well, but I'm one of those people who've said that being a veggie is something they probably wouldn't do. But I suppose not eating meat isn't all that bad, right? Anyway, I'm going to start this 'diet' tomorrow and see how it goes for the week. Then I'll change some things and actually take an interest in what we buy now. After reading the diet plan, I searched for some vegetarian recipe sites and I was reminded of something I found a while ago. Then I came across this site http://justbento.com/

What is bento?
Bento (written 弁当), or obento (お弁当) to use the honorific term, is the Japanese word for a meal served in a box. Beyond that basic definition though, just about anything goes as to what kind of box or container is used, as well as what is put inside that box.

How cute are these, please? I really want to make something like that now, I've even jotted down some notes from the website so I know the basics. So this is the start of my overhaul, making healthy food that looks super cute. And I want to start making and customizing my clothes, seeing as I want to be a fashion designer. Maybe I can actually start working through some of the projects in a book I bought a couple of months ago - '200 Projects To Get You Into Fashion Design.'

I kind of want to start knitting too. I want to be able to make things like I saw in a couple of the 'Gothic Lolita Bible' issues. That's another thing I love, the whole Gothic/Lolita streetstyle in Japan. I'll probably bang on about that in another blog.

Oh knitting for psychos, anyone?
